Modern-Day Significance of Samdrup Dargeyling Monastery

officially registered under the Chhode Lhentshog, Department of Culture, Ministry of Home and
Cultural Affairs. This recognition formally established the monastery as a religious entity under
the name Samdrup Goen Chhoe Tshog.This official certification not only solidified the monastery’s
status but also ensured the preservation of its cultural and spiritual heritage for future generations.
By safeguarding its contributions to Bhutanese Buddhism and the Nyingma tradition, this
